What Are The Divine Truths About You?

Sometimes we forget who we are, the power we poccess, and how blessed we are in the hustle of day to day life. We can get caught up in seeking validation from people who really don’t matter that we forget to look to the One who created us for our identity and worth.

So here’s your reminder, divine. These are the divine truths God says about you in the form of affirmations, with scripture to follow.

I am loved.

John 3:16 speaks of the gravity of God’s love so clearly: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.”

I am valuable.

You are more valuable than many sparrows (Matthew 10:31).

I am divinely created.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

I am made new.

Sin is no longer your master, for you died to sin and are now alive to me (Romans 6:11; Ephesians 2:4–5).

I have worth.

Psalm 139:15 says, “My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.”

I have the spirit of my Creator within me.

Don’t live by your own power or understanding. No, live by my Spirit within you (Zechariah 4:6

I am transforming.

I am free from sin.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. –John 1:12

I am chosen.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. — 1 Peter 2:9

I am forgiven.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace — Ephesians 1:7

I am right and just in God eyes.

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. –Romans 5:1

Divine power lives in me.

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. –Philippians 4:13

I am a masterpiece.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. — Ephesians 2:10

I am a beautiful work in progress.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus, — Philippians 1:6

I am provided for.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:19

I am free.

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. –Galatians 5:1
